As a Senior ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of digital SoC design, from micro-architecture specification to delivering a design meeting power, performance, and area goals. You will work on advanced automotive communication semiconductors and systems, defining high-performance custom silicon with precise specifications. This position is located in Canada and is remote.

Responsible for developing Ethernovia’s Networking devices software stack including Embedded Firmware, kernel/device drivers, stack extensions, and testing utilities. Involved in architecture, design, and integration of firmware for safety-critical automotive applications. Must adhere to Functional Safety standards and best development practices.

Chip lead responsible for all aspects of the SoC from definition to implementation. Leads cross-functional teams through development and execution, creating a positive work environment based on integrity and strong work ethics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead platform bring up activities, triage and debug platform issues, define standards for hardware and influence part selection, and develop insights for next-generation SOC based products. Lead platform SW development and packaging processes, stay updated on latest advancements in SoC and platform technologies.

Develop and manage project plans, lead budget and resource allocation, communicate with stakeholders, oversee technical operations, research new technology, and train teams on processes and strategies.
