Manage daily accounting for Coinbase Financial Services Europe Ltd (CBFSE): record journal entries, maintain reconciliations, execute regulatory reporting to CySEC and Central Bank of Cyprus, support audits, partner with cross-functional teams, and analyze data to improve accounting processes.

Lead quality assurance reviews of transaction monitoring investigations, enforce QA rubrics, perform root cause analysis, and deliver metrics and dashboards. Drive calibration, training, and cross-functional remediation with Compliance, Operations, Analytics, and L&D to improve AML/CFT case consistency and operational performance.

Investigate AML and fraud-related alerts using blockchain analysis and KYC data, document findings, perform due diligence, escalate or file SARs per BSA/AML and OFAC requirements, and maintain compliant case documentation for Luxembourg operations.

Lead global GL operations and intercompany accounting, own month‑end and quarter‑end close, manage intercompany billing, FX, eliminations and transfer pricing. Drive SOX‑compliant controls, ERP/NetSuite enhancements, M&A integrations and new entity setups. Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal and Finance Data and mentor direct reports to scale financial infrastructure.

Own month-end and quarter-end close for Coinbase's India exchange, maintain parallel Ind AS and US GAAP books, prepare reconciliations and financial statements, ensure compliance with Indian regulatory filings, coordinate with FP&A/Tax/Treasury teams, support liquidity and customer funds safeguards, improve accounting systems and controls, and review and mentor junior team members.
