Who can apply?
- Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4Youth initiative.
- Aged between 18 and 29
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must reside close to the workplace area
- Must not have a criminal record.
- Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2025.
- Highest Qualification to be Grade 12
- Qualification aligned to the position would be an advantage
Duration?
12-months
How much will you earn?
R5000 stipend monthly
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests.
- Guide visitors to the appropriate person or office within the organization.
- Answer and forward phone calls.
- Ensure that the reception area is organized, presentable, and stocked with necessary stationery and materials.
- Offer accurate information in person or via phone/email to visitors and callers.
- Sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Follow safety procedures and control access via the reception desk (e.g., monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Order front office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Assist with travel arrangements.
- Maintain updated records of office expenses and costs.
- Handle tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
