About the Role:
Iberdrola Deutschland is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support our GIS and Environment Team (GISE) in Berlin. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in geospatial analysis and environmental planning within the renewable energy sector. You will assist with a variety of organizational and analytical tasks that contribute to the success of our projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and editing of maps using ArcGIS
- Support the area identification process for potential project sites
- Conduct literature reviews and analyze regional planning documents
- Communicate with municipalities to gather relevant data and project information
- Help streamline internal workflows and contribute to team efficiency
Your Profile:
- Enrolled student in Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Proficient in German (written and spoken)
- Experience with GIS tools, especially ArcGIS
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Based in Berlin or surrounding area
