As Web Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to analyze and optimize our web traffic and content performance. With a deep understanding of how content influences customer behavior, you'll provide actionable insights that drive our content strategy, enhance user experience, and ultimately improve customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive web and content analytics strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
- Data Analysis: Analyze website performance, content effectiveness, and user engagement metrics using tools such as Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant platforms
- Content Impact Assessment: Measure and evaluate how different types of content influence customer behavior and outcomes. Provide insights into content performance and its impact on lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention
- Reporting: Create and present detailed reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights. Communicate findings to stakeholders and recommend strategies for optimization
- A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to determine the effectiveness of content and web design changes. Use results to drive continuous improvement
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure that analytics insights are integrated into content creation and web optimization efforts
- Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web and content analytics. Recommend and implement new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities
- Team Management: Grow your team of analysts in both scope of work and level of influence
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web analytics, content analytics, or a related field with at least 1 year experience managing a team (B2B environment preferred)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, web analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Adobe Analytics), content management systems (CMS), and A/B testing platforms (Optimizely/Intellimize). Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Experience in measuring content performance and its impact on customer behavior
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in analytics is a plus
