Essential Job Functions-Description:
- Application Security:
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents and breaches.
- Security Awareness and Training: Implement security awareness and training programs to educate employees about their roles and responsibilities in protecting information assets and mitigating security risks.
- Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management: Evaluate and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers, including conducting security assessments and due diligence reviews.
- Security Operations: Lead a team of security professionals responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and alerts, ensuring the timely resolution of issues and incidents.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the information security budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic priorities and operational needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business units, and other key stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for information security that aligns with the organization's overall objectives and risk tolerance.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize information security risks across the organization, and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies and controls.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Establish and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Security Architecture:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure technical architectures and solutions, including networks, systems, applications, and cloud environments.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data.
- Demonstrated experience thinking critically to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of developing specific and realistic goals and plans to prioritize, organize, track and accomplish work.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of current business acumen.
- Solid knowledge of security principles, technologies and best practices
- Solid knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management
- Solid knowledge of access management, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence
Minimum Education Preferred
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certification preferred.

- This position is primarily a remote position. Access to a quiet space at home and reliable internet is required.
Travel
Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs and/or events.
