It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

This position will work with our investment team in various equity analysis, equity research coverage, and portfolio reporting responsibilities.

About This Role:

Investment Research & Analysis: Screen for investment prospects, perform financial and valuation analysis, conduct bottom-up fundamental business analysis, prepare written research reports, and present recommendations to portfolio managers.

Investment Coverage: Responsible for ongoing coverage of existing investments, including earnings analysis and reporting on news and other company-related events.

Portfolio Reporting: Contribute to the regular portfolio reporting process through data collection and analysis, summarization of information, and preparation of materials for meetings/presentations.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Primary Qualifications

BA/BS in relevant field (Finance, Economics, Accounting).

Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, or intent to enroll in the program.

Understanding of value investing principles.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, and economic concepts and theories.

Strong aptitude for financial and valuation analysis.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Secondary Qualifications

Prior equity analysis, or investment industry, experience would be considered a positive, but is not required.

Experience with FactSet, Bloomberg, or comparable analysis tools.
