Job Purpose:

The Treasury and Tax Assistant Manager is a critical role that ensures the company’s financial stability and compliance by managing treasury operations and tax obligations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management, develop innovative financial strategies, and contribute to the company’s growth. If you are passionate about finance, detail-oriented, and eager to make a significant impact, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Treasury Management: Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash flow management.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports on treasury and tax activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks related to treasury and tax functions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures for treasury and tax operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in treasury or tax management, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial systems and technology, including SAP and Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
