We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Accounting Department in Durham, North Carolina. The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in managing the company’s cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity needs while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to optimize treasury processes.
About the Treasury Analyst
- Cash Management & Forecasting
- Monitor daily cash activity and prepare accurate cash position reports.
- Assist with short-term cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Optimize the company’s use of cash, credit facilities, and banking relationships.
- Banking Operations
- Manage daily banking activities, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and reconciliations.
- Support the setup of new bank accounts, signers, and electronic banking platforms.
- Maintain positive relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Treasury Reporting & Controls
- Prepare monthly and quarterly treasury reports, including cash flow analysis, investment balances, and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX standards.
- Assist with treasury-related audit requests and documentation.
- Process Improvements & System Enhancements
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate treasury processes.
- Support implementation of treasury management systems and tools as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on treasury-related initiatives.
About you as the Treasury Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance; corporate treasury experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, banking platforms and treasury management software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications of the Treasury Analyst
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and international banking practices.
- Exposure to AdTech or technology industry environments.
