What You Will Do:

• oversee the planning, execution, and completion of transfer pricing projects across multiple jurisdictions, including Cyprus, the US, the UAE, and Ukraine; ensure alignment with global transfer pricing strategies and compliance with local laws;
• serve as the primary point of contact for all transfer pricing communications; coordinate with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables; review and assess the quality of work provided by external consultants and advisors to ensure it meets the Group’s standards;
• provide expert support during tax audits, including preparing necessary documentation and defending transfer pricing policies and practices; work closely with the legal and financial compliance teams to develop strategies to efficiently manage and resolve audit inquiries and challenges;
• responsible for the collection and analysis of transaction data; conduct comprehensive functional, risk, and economic analyses to support and justify transfer pricing policies; prepare detailed and robust documentation to comply with local and international transfer pricing requirements;
• identify transaction that fall under DAC 6 reporting requirements, and lead the DAC 6 compliance, where needed;
• assist in the drafting and preparation of intra-group agreements based on transfer pricing outcomes and analyses; ensure that all agreements are compliant with applicable laws and reflect the economic activities and value creation of involved entities;
• identify opportunities for process improvement in transfer pricing practices; implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in transfer pricing documentation and compliance;
• develop training materials and conduct sessions for internal tax and finance teams to enhance understanding of transfer pricing concepts and requirements; ensure that all relevant personnel are informed and compliant with evolving regulations and standards;
• keep abreast of changes in transfer pricing regulations and guidelines across all relevant jurisdictions (OECD TP Guidance, changes under the BEPS APs, Pillar 2); analyze the implications of regulatory changes and advise senior management on strategic responses.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field;
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in transfer pricing (either in-house or legal & accountancy firm); experience in Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting companies followed by in-house position will be preferable;
• knowledge of International regulations, OECD guidance and developments, in particular transfer pricing guidelines;
• understanding of transfer pricing legislation in Cyprus; experience with transfer pricing in USA, UAE and Ukraine;
• strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation.
• strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.);
• knowledge of international tax (in particular DAC6, Pillar 2, utilization of double tax treaties (including LoB provisions)) and/or dealing with tax reporting and compliance matters;
• English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must;
• professional knowledge of MS Excel.
