About this Position:

  • Accurately document receipt of titles and file and store titles upon receipt from state DMVs or Dealers.
  • Professionally and respectfully communicate with customers to obtain required documents or information necessary to understand their needs.
  • Identify errors on titles and escalate when appropriate.
  • Distribute titles to Title Specialists when requested.
  • Process a high volume of paperwork.
  • Mail completed title paperwork.
  • Support the teams within the department and Company as needed or requested.
  • This position works onsite and remote based on the business need.

Outcomes and Activities:

  • Timely respond and process title-related paperwork received via email, mail, and fax.
  • Accurately enter title information into applicable system(s).
  • Accurately store and organize physical titles in the title room.
  • Pull titles requested by internal departments and external customers for proper distribution.
  • Process and mail title paperwork.
  • Remain compliant with Company policies, processes, and legal guidelines.
  • Title changes, Lien releases: Work with internal and external customers to identify solutions for any title issues and process requests for consumer title needs.
  • Support the Remarketing process by processing title requests to obtain titles and mail paperwork to auctions.
  • Identify any roadblocks that are preventing the team from meeting the Standards of Service and escalate to leadership for assistance with clearing any roadblocks.
  • Adhere to attendance as outlined in the department attendance policy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Meet qualifications to become a Notary Public.
  • Experience efficiently and accurately completing forms or data entry.
  • Have high speed internet connection with a minimum of 15mbps download speed.
  • Able to operate office equipment (copy machines, fax, telephone, and keyboard).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Preferred:

  • Experience in finance or automotive industry.
  • Experience with vehicle titles.
  • Previous customer service experience.

Additional Skills:

  • Display high levels of attention to detail to ensure work is processed accurately and proper documentation of accounts is completed.
  • Show flexibility in addressing the highest priority, time sensitive issues as they are identified by leadership and ensure business needs are always met.

Training & Schedule Requirements:

Training:

  • 6-8 weeks of onsite training
  • Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm EST

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday: 7am-7pm EST(Flex Schedule - 8 hours)
  • 3-4 days working onsite in Southfield, MI and 1-2 days working remote on a rotational schedule

Targeted Compensation: $18.50-$21.65/hour based on experience.

Targeted Bonus: Uncapped monthly bonus potential based on individual performance. The estimated average bonus target for this position is around $300.
