Job Description: 

We are looking for a senior-level Thunderbolt Solution Architect to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Thunderbolt board design and a deep understanding of Thunderbolt system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of reference boards for upcoming Thunderbolt chips.
• Own the power-on process, including board bring-up, debugging, and resolving hardware issues as needed.
• Drive the board through the full Thunderbolt certification process, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Make informed component selection decisions based on system, performance, and customer requirements.
• Work directly with customers to understand their board needs and translate them into solid design solutions.
• Perform detailed debugging, issue reproduction, and root-cause analysis.
• Execute lab work, measurements, validation, and hardware verification.
• Serve as the technical focal point for the board design team.
• Travel approximately three times per year (international).

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Thunderbolt board design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and lab tools.
• Ability to work closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
