Mission and responsibilities:
- You will be a key actor in the implementation of our Continuous Testing strategy across all projects and modules. This strategy comprises of two challenges: achieving fully automated functional and non-functional testing, and integrating seamlessly with the SDLC processes and tools. To this end, you will collaborate tightly with other stakeholders (Product, Development, Operations, Business) to ensure that every business flow has full automated coverage, developing new tools if needed and integrating them into our testing frameworks.
- You will be responsible for identifying and solving domain-specific challenges and accountable for the successful implementation of the Continuous Testing strategy in collaboration with Testing Architects and Product Owners.
To be successful in the role you must have
- We are looking for an experienced Testing Automation Engineer (+4 years experience), fluent in Java, with provable experience testing not only REST APIs, but also other types of API (RPC, OBDC…), batch processes (file-based, schedule-triggered…), asynchronous flows (queues, event buses…), thick client applications, etc.
- An interest in problem-solving and tackling challenges is essential for this position. Learning by doing and not being afraid to make mistakes, while delivering usable solutions, will make you successful in this job.
- Advanced English and Spanish level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Telecommunications Engineering, or related.
