Application formulator is supervised by Solution Manager- bakery & Snack, accomplish yearly distribution target, create fortune and value for the company.
Core Responsibilities:
- Developing and formulating solutions using texturizers, sweeteners, and flavours, mainly for bakery application.
- Applying flavour, sweetener, and texturizer to food products by incorporating these components into base formulations and creating prototypes for evaluation.
- Collaborating with other teams such as research and development, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure product formulations align with business objectives.
- Conducting trials and evaluations to assess flavour and texture profiles and collecting data to improve formulations.
- Troubleshooting technical issues that arise during product scale-up or production.
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends and new technologies related to flavour science and food processing.
- Interacting with clients to gather technical requirements, provide consultation, and offer customised solutions.
- Working with R&D and marketing teams, conducting trials, and resolving technical problems.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in food science/technology or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the bakery product development and formulation. Experience of flavor application is a plus. Understanding of food science principles and experimental design. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient in English for routine and non-pressuring situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
