JOB OBJECTIVE
In this role, the primary focus of the Technical Publication Writer is to help develop and write technical manuals, short descriptions, product data sheets, and other publications covering Navigation Aid & Non radar
Surveillance equipment. The core topics are installation, maintenance, operation, networking, and software use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Services Team, your main tasks will be to:
- Coordinate and organize technical information to produce high quality technical documentation that meets the company standards and user’s requirements (technical manuals, short descriptions, product data sheets, etc…).
- Describe complex processes and support them with charts, photographs, drawings, diagrams.
- Management of the Subcontractors involved in the Interactive Electronic Technical Publications editing (activities planning, assignment and control from a financial and technical perspective), in accordance with the applicable specifications and international standard.
- Work closely with various stakeholders and technical staff to collect and organize technical information for publication.
- Collaborate with other NAS Site Technical Publication Authors to coordinate standard versions vs. specific US versions publication and to maximize module adaptation.
- Coordinate with configuration management for release of these documents.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master degree in electronic/aerospace/aeronautic engineer or bachelor in Foreign Languages .
- Good written and verbal communication skills to allow effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Italian & English fluency is required
- Knowledge of French or German is a benefit.
