As a Technical Support & Solutions Engineer, you will be pivotal in revolutionizing our Road & Track Testing (RTT) and LAB tire testing reporting systems. What You’ll Do:
Provide technical support to users of Product Performance Insight (PPI) and Applied Physical Metrology (APM) tools, ensuring issues are redirected to appropriate service teams.
Serve as the primary PPI contact for IT-related activities involving external suppliers at the Product Evaluation site.
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of PPI tire testing reporting systems.
Manage workflow systems for Product Evaluation, ensuring efficient sequencing from lab test conditions to result processing and database integration.
Design scalable and compliant infrastructure to support PPI systems across multiple sites and regions.
Coordinate and execute software development tasks, including the creation and maintenance of test reporting applications.
Provide technical guidance, recommend improvements, and develop roadmaps for assigned products.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT-related work in the dedicated wiki, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including OFI and CIS programs.
Ensure adherence to all Quality System requirements and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Support and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities and standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years experience in software development, preferably through a Fortune 500 Company internship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What Will Set You Apart:
Proficiency in Java, C#, and C++ programming.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, preferably AngularJS.
Proficiency in French and/or Chinese is a bonus.
Exposure to JIRA and Confluence.
Experience with databases, like Oracle and SQL.
