Technical Specialist II

São Paulo Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

We are seeking a talented Technical Support Engineer to become an integral part of our support engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of specialists, providing comprehensive support across all areas of our business.

What you will do:

  • Troubleshoot and debug software and infrastructure issues raised by end-users of the software developed by our engineering teams.
  • Verify and document bugs for tracking and escalation.
  • Incident management, including managing communication with stakeholders and coordinating with development teams.
  • Be an expert in Ebury’s products.
  • Work with the Software Engineering teams to establish support workflows and monitoring plans for new products and projects.
  • Work with trusted vendors to solve service events.
  • Collaborate with other software development engineers on process enhancements and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product teams to analyze feedback and report feature gaps.

What you will need:

  • Experience providing L2 support in a tech-driven business environment. 
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiar with AWS Cloud or Google Cloud and Linux administration.
  • A strong desire to identify and resolve root causes, systematically preventing issues from recurring by collaborating
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, along with a willingness to uphold Ebury's values
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Desirable:

  • Software development experience with Python or Go.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies and Continuous Integration.
  • Understand common frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Use tooling to manipulate data  in PostgreSQL, Firestore
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
