Job Description

We’re building a team for technical experts, knowledge masters and superheroes willing to help others. Our team of development professionals works with user groups all around the world to help them build up and configure their own unique working environments. Development teams at Bosch turn to us to find solutions and efficiencies they haven’t yet considered. We’re always working with new technologies and encourage out-of-the box approaches to existing problems.

Tasks: 

  • Use infrastructure automation and configuration tools to streamline development.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure following best practices.
  • Ensure all builds and designs align with high-level architecture principles and overall strategy.
  • Leverage common Infrastructure as Code tools to define Kubernetes environments and workloads.
  • Utilize Configuration Management and Continuous Deployment tools to orchestrate delivery of applications to stateless and stateful stacks and resources.
  • Migrate operations of bare metal and VM hosted applications to containers and serverless.
  • Migrate operations of non-scalable and/or non-highly available platforms to a high availability and scalable architecture (web applications, databases, storage, etc).
  • Migrate on-premise data and applications to Kubernetes.
  • Implement optimized Kubernetes architectures that account for cost, availability, and scalability needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:  

  • Professional hands-on experience in the IT service industry with architecture or DevOps
  • Graduates/Post-Graduates in computer science or equivalent 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Working experience in Agile Development and familiar with industry-standard project management processes for Development Teams
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
  • Security awareness and the ability to design, plan, and implement security solutions
  • Experience managing common security controls (IAM, Least Privilege, Firewall, Patching, Antivirus, etc.)
  • Understanding of enterprise, network, system and application-level architecture
  • Experience utilizing common source control systems (git, SVN, Bitbucket) and project structure/organization
  • Experience with traditional VM, container (Docker, Kubernetes), or serverless based architectures
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • High-level language programming skills
  • Linux/Windows/OSX environment admin-level knowledge
  • Enthusiastic about maintaining and growing a wide technical skillset
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Good technical knowledge of Microservice oriented solutions, APIs, Azure AD and common Cloud authentication patterns
  • Ability to work in both collaborative and independent work environments
  • Understanding and experience in the fields of GenAI and DevSecOps
