Team Lead, HR Systems - Recruiting & Operations (Remote, Indiana)
Allegion is looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to join our corporate HR Systems team. As a member of the HR Systems team, our goal is to leverage the power of technology to streamline HR services, create a seamless user experience, and provide human-capital insights that anticipate business needs and improve decision making.
The HR Systems Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the global HR Information System (Workday), as well as driving innovative solutions that support the business. This position will be responsible for understanding business requirements to configure, test and implement changes, with a focus on the Recruiting function. Opportunities to lead and/or be the primary technical resource on projects will be a large part of this role. This role also involves leading a team of system professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the effective use of Workday to meet business needs. This position will report directly to the Manager, HR Systems.

What You Will Do:
- Proactively develop relationships with internal partners to gain deep understanding of business requirements.
- Partner with HR Business Process Owners (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, etc.) to design the system according to requirements and find solutions for continuous improvements.
- Understand future system functionality through networking, Workday Community and User Groups to help drive innovative HR processes.
- Perform complex configuration and set up in Workday.
- Facilitate global training in relation to HR systems.
- Understand, document, and streamline HR business processes across all HR functions.
- Work with internal business groups to develop complex reports to support their data needs.
- Lead or support M&A projects in relation to HR Systems.
- Provide day to day support in system setup for security and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop user procedures and training documentation as needed.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert to support and drive HR processes in Workday.
- Lead system analysts and prioritize work appropriately.
- Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and provide mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR related fields.
- Proficiency in Workday required, experience in the Recruiting module preferred.
- Ability to create, measure, and forecast key business performance indicators.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
