Job Description:
Summary:
Join our software engineering team to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for networking products. This role focuses on low-level software development, including operating systems and Linux kernel work, and is ideal for candidates with strong C programming skills and experience in computer networking.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enhancements for systems software including operating systems, drivers, compilers, networking, and utilities.
- Analyze design requirements and perform coding, testing, and integration activities based on project objectives.
- Design, develop and execute layered test plans to ensure robust product deliverables
- Identify and debug software issues and recommend proactive improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to deliver modular, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
- Communicate project status, design decisions, and technical issues effectively with project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in C and low-level software design.
- Experience with Python, Linux kernel, and computer networking is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with software systems design tools, software development lifecycle, layered testing methodologies, and multi-platform development.
