Overview:
WiredPeople welcomes applicants to our Systems Analyst role. This position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making, identifying areas for operational improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions. Considerable exercise of independent judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and the ability to perform against high standards of excellence is a must. This position will operate onsite in Tallahassee, FL.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Develop user requirement documents, design documents and screen presentations based on user requirements, user input, and feedback as directed by the Department.
- Provide research and analytical services for defects, enhancements, and systems as they emerge.
- Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements and facilitate the development of Requirements documentation for defects, and enhancements to the HMS system.
- Facilitate development using object-oriented design methodology and design using the Unified Modeling Language and or Flow Charts.
- Develop test cases and scripts to test the application and provide support, software testing, and quality assurance to ensure that the application meets requirements, per the user requirements.
- Provide work estimates, communication and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum, daily in the time indicated on the work, to implement system feature enhancements or additions and bug fixes.
- Document and follow Office of IT processes and ensure compliance with Department Standards.
- Complete job required training and submit verification of each training (i.e. certification of completion, sign-in sheet, etc.) after completion of each training.
Qualifications:
- 2 years demonstrated experience with implementing Health Care Systems.
- 2 years demonstrated experience with the Department’s HMS system, other clinic
- management, or electronic health record software.
- 2 years demonstrated experience writing, developing user and system requirements
- 1 year demonstrated experience with Agile software development, project management
- and testing practices.
- 3 years demonstrated experience in analysis, testing and flowcharting and unified modeling.
- 3 years demonstrated experience using SQL.
- 3 years demonstrated experience with formal software testing.
