Duties and Responsibilities, Aligned with Key Results:
People:
- Create a positive team member experience as part of the broader Information Technology group
- Conduct periodic check-in meetings with IT management to provide status updates on projects and in-flight enhancements
Client:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Workday and Financial Applications support through the following avenues:
- General Workday Finance support mailbox
- Support desk tickets sourced through Ivanti
- Direct emails with internal and external resources
- Align with various subject matter experts within the Global Shared Services and Service Delivery groups to ensure proper understanding of enhancement requests and expected delivery timelines
Value:
- Perform configuration and maintenance of Workday and other related financial applications
- Stay informed on the latest Workday and other related financial application updates and product enhancements, communication these available features to stakeholders on a regular basis
- Configures and performs upkeep on the Workday system to meet Ryan’s business requirements and provide insight on best practices.
- Follow all documented user and system control procedures, including support with User Access Reviews and Change Control processes
- Completes tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, reporting progress to managers
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university, and five years related experience.
- Workday Financials certification or comparable Workday support experience is required.
- Three (3) years implementing financial ERP applications such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business, SAP or other SaaS software solutions preferred.
- Proven experience in Workday Reporting, including the use of Composite Reports, Dashboards and/or Scorecards, with Workday calculated fields preferred.
- Extensive knowledge in at least one (1) of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash/Treasury, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable Experience re-engineering finance business processes. Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and compliance. Workday Composite Reporting, Prism or Extend certifications preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Computer and Technology Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills, in Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Experience using accounting software is required.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid driver's license required. CPA or CFA candidate preferred.

Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
