Position Description
Join the TherapyNotes team as a Systems Administrator and take your tech skills to the next level! We’re on the lookout for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a curious mindset to push boundaries and rethink the ordinary. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our cloud server environment, ensuring seamless operations while serving as the go-to expert for escalated helpdesk challenges. Requirements
- BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years experience managing Microsoft desktop and server environments
- Preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure – Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE certifications or equivalent experience
- Proficiency supporting cloud-based compute and storage solutions (Entra (Azure) preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft365, Azure AD/AADDS, Active Directory Domain Services, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019+, DHCP, DNS, Autopilot
- Proficiency in Linux server systems administration such as RedHat, CentOS, and Debian
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, PowerShell, JQL)
- Proficiency with Mac products (e.g., macOS/iOS/iPadOS, JAMF, ABM)
- Proficiency with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with ITIL and/or ITSM principles a plus
- Ability to manage diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
- Strong project management skills and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Provides 1st and 2nd level cloud-based, remote and on-site support for the server and desktop environment
- Ensures all infrastructure solutions and operational activities adhere to the security and operating policies established by the organization
- Participates in engineering innovation projects that push the organization forward
- Performs recurring IT operational tasks and proactively validates environment health
- Reports and escalates support trends in order to improve service delivery
- Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery or the health of the environment through process improvement and/or continual development of runbooks
- Provides on-call coverage for production support and other duties as required

Whereas most practice management systems offer a generic free-form text area, TherapyNotes™ offers an easy-to-use form-filled approach, greatly speeding up data entry and note writing. The notes were carefully designed by TherapyNotes™ cofounder and psychologist Debra Pliner, with feedback from other psychologists, psychiatrists, and significant research to maximize compliance with insurance, HIPAA, and industry standards.
