This is an excellent opportunity to drive impactful sustainability projects and work with colleagues from across the globe. As a key business partner, you’ll gain practical experience in how operational sustainability supports our business goals and play an active role in turning our sustainability targets into results.
Where you’ll beYou will be located at our Espoo HQ in Finland and should be within reasonable commuting distance from here.
What you'll be doingImplement sustainability projects focused on environmental performance, especially decarbonization (Scope 1 & 2 emission reduction) and solvents management.
Develop and execute the business segment’s operational sustainability roadmap in close partnership with sites and operations.
Act as a trusted partner to sales teams, supporting sustainability education and responding to customer requests on operational sustainability.
Set and track site-specific sustainability KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and periodic governance.
Support the segment budgeting and resourcing plans in order to achieve sustainability targets set for the business segment.
Support action planning and execution for social and nature-related sustainability topics.
Willingness to travel, as needed, for business purposes.
Bachelors/ Masters in a relevant field (e.g. business, sustainability, engineering, economics, ).
3-4 years’ experience in sustainability roles, ideally in the manufacturing industry, with a track record in operational sustainability.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset.
Strong skills in project management, communications and presentation.
Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders globally with a positive, can-do attitude.
