As a Supervisor, PEX Technology, you will lead and oversee the development and delivery of technology solutions that support Project Execution. You supervise application development efforts, ensure data produced by those solutions is reliably integrated into enterprise data platforms (including the data lake and Project Hub), and drive alignment between technology, analytics, and business workflows to improve project performance, transparency, and decision-making.

Responsibilities/Expectations: 

  • Leads and oversees the design, build, and delivery of technology tools and applications, ensuring solutions are delivered quickly, meet business needs, and are scalable and maintainable
  • Ensures data generated by applications and solutions is accurately integrated into enterprise data platforms to support reliable reporting, analytics, and downstream use
  • Assigns work, set priorities, remove delivery obstacles, and balance competing demands to ensure timely execution in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
  • Partners with stakeholders to understand requirements and guide the team in delivering practical, technology-enabled solutions that improve operational outcomes
  • Enforces development, data, and documentation standards to ensure solutions are supportable, reusable, and aligned with broader enterprise practices
  • Coaches and develop team members to keep skills current with evolving technologies and rising demand, ensuring the team can adapt and scale over time
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education/Years of Experience: 

  • Required: Associate’s degree and minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience (mix of business and technical experience)
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience (mix of business and technical experience) 

Other Requirements: 

  • Experience leading/supervising application development teams; knowledge of SDLC and modern delivery approaches (including low-code/no-code and enterprise applications)
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms (data lake/warehouse) and building/operating data integrations (pipelines, quality controls) that enable analytics and reporting
  • Working knowledge of the project execution lifecycle and cross-functional interfaces (engineering, land, permitting, project controls, PM, project development)
  • Ability to translate business/project needs into technical requirements and solution designs
  • Familiarity with scalable solution architectures, APIs, and integration patterns
  • Experience enforcing development standards, documentation, and governance
  • Proven ability to coach and develop technical talent
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and timelines 

  

Physical and Environment Work Requirements:  

  • Ability to perform work in an office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively in meetings and collaborative work settings 

  

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:  

  • Typically works standard business hours; may require occasional flexibility to support releases, issue resolution, or critical project milestones
  • Travel is not expected, but may be required occasionally based on business needs
