The Role
Our Engineering team built the world’s largest cloud security platform from the ground up, and we keep building. With more than 100 patents and big plans for enhancing services and increasing our global footprint, the team has made us and our multitenant architecture today's cloud security leader, with more than 15 million users in 185 countries. We’re looking for enthusiastic Summer 2026 Technical Interns to join our Engineering team. This 12-week internship program is based in San Jose, CA and offers a hybrid work environment. You will be responsible for:
- Assigned Project(s): taking ownership of assigned projects and feature development, working closely with team members, mentors and various stakeholders to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
- Collaboration: attending and contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning and design reviews focussed on developing new technical solutions and supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Documentation: creating and updating technical documentation, project summaries, or knowledge base articles to ensure your work is accessible and maintainable for the team
- Innovation: quickly learning and applying new programming languages, frameworks internal tools or technical processes required for your project(s)
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with passion for innovation and technology

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
