Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy & Planning Lead Business Execution Consultant within Human Resources, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, the planning process, and execution to support organizational goals. This role collaborates across HR Governance and Workforce Relations (GWR) and its business units to develop, implement, and monitor strategic priorities, implementation strategies, metrics, and the overall story. In addition, the role will drive strategic thinking across GWR and ensure investments align with priorities. The consultant leverages strategic practices, analytical expertise, strong relationship building, and deep knowledge to deliver insights and solutions that advance GWR's strategic objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning
- Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities
- Review and analyze GWR business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
- Exercise independent judgment
- Resolve moderately complex issues
- Lead the GWR team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
- Develop and refine GWR strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide business goals and objectives.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement within GWR functions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership based on research, data, and strategic assessments.
- Collaborate with GWR business partners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and drive consensus on strategic priorities.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying obstacles and proposing solutions to ensure timely delivery.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends affecting HR strategy and workforce planning.
- Contribute to the development of annual and multi-year GWR plans, including workforce planning and talent management strategies
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of experience in strategy, planning, and consulting, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record in project management and strategic planning supporting an organization.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior leadership, including directors and executives.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Skilled in crafting cohesive narratives that align with business objectives and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and presentation software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint), with strong presentation skills to deliver clear, compelling, and data-driven insights
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
