Role Summary:
- We are seeking a Strategy Director to join the NXP China Strategy team—a role centered on substantive analysis and direct contribution to the company’s strategic direction in a high-growth market.
- This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ownership for key initiatives that drive the organization's growth and market position. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong program management capabilities, ensuring the successful execution of critical business strategies.
Job Responsibility:
- Strategic Program Leadership: Take end-to-end ownership of major strategic programs, such as partnerships in core technology areas (e.g., MCU and analog). This involves defining program scope, objectives, and ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
- Business Strategy Execution: Assume ownership for critical market-specific strategic pillars (e.g., "must-win battles"). This includes developing implementation plans, monitoring progress, and being accountable for achieving the defined strategic outcomes.
- Specialized Strategic Support: Provide dedicated strategic analysis and support to senior leadership for specific business functions or domains, contributing to high-level planning and decision-making.
- Standardization and Governance: Lead and steer standardization initiatives, particularly in emerging or currently unaddressed sectors such as the Industrial Internet of Things. This involves establishing frameworks and best practices to guide the organization.
- Innovation Incubation: Identify, champion, and incubate innovation projects in key future technologies, fostering a pipeline of new growth opportunities for the business.
- Strategic Business Development and Partnership: Support strategic business development efforts and ensure strong strategy alignment with major Chinese company. Focus on building strategic relationships and driving mutual growth, Explore new partnership model with various stakeholder in China
Job Qualification:
- Undergraduate and/or master’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement
- 8+ yrs working experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, equity research, or a technology-focused role is highly preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, structure analysis, and derive data-driven insights.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, scenario modeling) and Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to create visually impactful and logically structured presentations is critical).
- Fluent English is mandatory (both written and verbal), with the confidence to engage professionally in a global, multicultural environment.
