Job Purpose:
Our Global Sourcing Manager for Strategic Accounts will be responsible for leading the execution of the company-wide strategy development and implementation at the regional level. This position will work closely with the Director of Procurement and the team to develop, plan, and implement the strategies required to satisfy customer requirements through leveraged buying and foreign sourcing. Additional responsibilities will include setting purchasing policy for local buyers, negotiating favorable terms from suppliers and evaluating supplier quotes to determine and audit quality of preferred suppliers.Job Responsibilities:

- Establish and manage preferred and certified supplier relationships working towards implementing a Supplier Management Program
- Manage all national buying agreements within the Strategic Accounts needs
- Negotiate optimum inventory level agreements in conjunction to support established service levels
- Understand Customer Service Level Agreements and Planning Processes to maximize Supplier negotiations in Cost Modeling
- Manage 3PL relationships and balance standard costs within the 3PL base regionally
- Establish, support, and manage common process and procedural standards across all depts
- Establish and manage KPI’s
- Lead Inventory Savings Activities and negotiate reduction of inventory asset management
- Reduce/ eliminate unnecessary freight and supply chain expenses
- Identify and implement improvements to achieve cost savings
- Apply strategic marketing and international business skills to identify and pursue business opportunities
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, increase turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly, to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in purchasing.
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing management preferably in a distribution environment
