Internship Opportunity 2026 – Analog IC Design of Power Management Unit for Automotive Microcontrollers
Context
The Automotive Microcontrollers business unit develops integrated circuits for a wide range of automotive applications, including (but not limited to) end-node systems, body control modules, battery management systems, motor control, and zonal control modules.
We are currently seeking a final-year engineering or master’s student for a 6-month internship to collaborate with our analog design team on the development of analog integrated circuits for power management and power conversion.
Your Responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to propose, analyze, and simulate various circuit topologies for a power management unit within a new family of NXP automotive microcontrollers. Your work may include, but is not limited to:
- Low Drop-Out Regulators (LDOs)
- Hysteretic Comparators.
- Voltage Amplifiers and Buffers.
- Voltage Monitors.
You will be supported by experienced engineers and work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
Your Profile
- You are in the final year of an engineering school or master’s program, specializing in analog IC design.
- You have experience with Cadence Virtuoso or a similar analog design suite.
- You are motivated to learn and grow in the field of analog IC design.
- You enjoy working in a multicultural team environment.
- You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
