The Opportunity
Are you interested in taking your career to the next level and joining a global design community working with some of the best talent? Adobe Design is looking for a talented Staff Designer to join the Document Cloud design team and help us build the next generation of our mobile products.
As a senior member of the team you will help shape the strategy of Acrobat's mobile experiences that affect a billion users globally. You will work closely with cross- functional teams to drive impactful user experiences across our mobile products; Acrobat Reader and Scan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design and skilled in creating compelling and engaging experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define design requirements and deliver exceptional experiences.
- Organize and facilitate design-led workshops and alignment meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Explore design ideas through sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Deliver high-fidelity designs that effectively illustrate user flows and interactions. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to simplify complex problems, create a plan, and take action even in ambiguous circumstances.
- Combine strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective to influence and persuade.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of working independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring the design vision to life.
- Excellent design craftsmanship combined with strong business intuition.
Nice to Have:
- Proven experience as a mobile designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in mobile design.
