Responsible for assisting with month-end closing, accounts payable functions, and payroll functions.Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Month-end journal entries/closing activities
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Process invoices for payment
- Process wire transfers and ACH payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and invoices, research and correct discrepancies
- Process weekly payroll
- Enter and process manual payroll adjustments
- Prepare necessary documentation and information for internal and external auditors
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- ERP experience is a plus
- Acumatica experience is a plus
- ADP experience is a plus
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized records, and meet deadlines
- Process routine tasks efficiently
- Reliable, honest, conscientious, and persistent with good organizational skills
