Mandatory Skills:

Strong proficiency in Mainframe COBOL programming.
Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) and DB2 databases.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Ability to analyze and optimize existing code for performance improvements.
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C#.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
