Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong focus on secure coding practices, particularly in Golang. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing secure applications and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team to deliver high quality software solutions while adhering to best security practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure applications using Golang.
- Implement secure coding practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
- Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and security.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues in existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to enhance application security.
- Document development processes, code changes, and security measures taken.
- Proven experience in secure coding practices, specifically in Golang.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
- Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience in working with microservices architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
