The RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer – Automation with hands-on experience in Python scripting, Linux (RHEL), Windows Server environments, and networking concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure tasks, leading automation projects, maintaining cross-platform environments, and supporting system and network administration tasks.Your Impact- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python for infrastructure, application deployment, and monitoring.
- Lead and execute end-to-end automation projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments, including patching, user management, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar (preferred).
- Implement system monitoring and alerting for servers and network devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, DevOps, Security) to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Write documentation for systems, processes, and automation scripts.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance issues, and firewall configuration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Certifications such as RHCE, Microsoft Certified, CCNA, Python or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong experience in Python scripting and automation of infrastructure tasks.
- Expertise in Linux system administration, preferably RHEL 8/9/10.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and routing/switching basics.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and ITIL processes.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Understanding and implementation of CIS Hardening for Windows, RHEL and Network Infrastructure.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Basic understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments with compliance and security policies.
