Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for solar panel production to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
Equipment Management: Collaborate with the equipment engineering team to evaluate, calibrate, and maintain production equipment for maximum performance.
Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process control plans, and work instructions.
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to reduce waste, lower costs, and improve process stability.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality team to ensure processes meet quality standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, equipment engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes into production.
Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior engineers and operators on best practices and process improvements.
New Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement new materials, equipment, and processes to stay ahead in solar panel manufacturing innovation.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in solar panel manufacturing or a related industry.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in manufacturing processes, such as lamination, soldering, encapsulation, or module assembly.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Python) and process simulation software.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges promptly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in photovoltaic (PV) module production or renewable energy manufacturing.
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing.
Familiarity with international standards for solar panel production (e.g., IEC, UL).
