Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Operations Analyst to join our Product Research, Design & Development team. In this highly independent role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple initiatives, optimizing operational processes, elevating data analytics capabilities and executing tasks related to comprehensive insights gathering for various projects. You will play a key role in establishing a center of excellence for end-to-end operations, supporting teams with the resources they need, implementing process enhancements, documenting workflows and defining best practices. Applicants should have proven experience in operations, preferably within product development or life cycle management. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a solution-oriented approach and precise attention to detail.

A day on the job looks like this:

  • Strategizing, building and maintaining new product development status reporting that rolls up Workfront/PLM progress for leadership and CFTs
  • Driving PLM reporting to ensure critical business reports are provided to teams as we implement PLM, including reimagining existing reports and data
  • Standardizing inputs, automating where possible and publishing in internal communication platforms
  • Analyzing operational data to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Capturing process changes as simple SOPs and coordinating training snippets for the team as needed
  • Creating and managing systems for sharing product insights across teams
  • Scheduling and managing insights gathering such as long-term product testing, teacher surveys and in-house teacher feedback sessions
  • Entering and maintaining new product ideas in internal systems at the start of development
  • Providing monthly sales updates tailored for the development team

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in operations and data analytics; experience within product development organizations is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required, with an emphasis on building and presenting reports
  • Proven experience in operations preferably within product development or life cycle management is preferred
  • Experience with PLM (Arena preferred) and collaboration in Workfront, SharePoint or Teams is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and working knowledge of Power BI; comfortable navigating validated data sources and publishing light dashboards
  • Strong meeting facilitation, documentation and follow‑through—able to move work forward across multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a product or development environment
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be comfortable with systems and data analysis

At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $82,000-$114,500 depending on relevant experience & skillset.

This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
