Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitates the design and layout of all components and systems that are auxiliaries to the main product such as piping, valves, tubes, fluid delivery and removal (fuel, lube, hydraulics), pumps, actuators, tooling, etc.
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- Lead and manage team of GT/GT-Accessory engineers providing competitive and integrated Solutions to our customers.
- Provide state of the art Combined Cycle Plant Design Engineering services for all Gas Plants.
- Lead and develop the engineering communities to fulfill requirements regarding competence, on time delivery and cost and drive and implement constant improvements.
- Lead and support NPI Programs for Service Solutions providing Combined Cycle Plant expertise and optimize cost and customer outcome in close cooperation with the CCP Systems team/ Product Lines / Fleet owners.
- Provide efficient ITO engineering support for conversions, modifications and upgrades (CM&U), Complex- and Extended Scope Projects in cooperation with the ITO organization and the regional teams to create customer value with Plant integration and support winning on projects.
- Provide state of the art engineering support in OTR project execution in CM&U’s, Complex- and Extended Scope projects partnering with other Engineering communities and regional teams. Develop further process, structure and standards to continuously improve on quality, cycle time and cost in project engineering.
- Provide engineering support on Engineering Requests (ER), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support customers to maintain availability and reliability on a high level.
- Partner with the Application Engineering, Requisition Engineering, and Project Engineering Manager COE’s, CTH and digital teams to execute a strategic plan to simplify CCP CM&Us and increase knowledge and capabilities around plant systems & digital solutions.
- Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in power plant CM&U in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality assurance, performance enhancements, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs.

- Lead the team to foster/build strong relationships with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and other engineering teams and functions in the fulfillment of projects
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Accessories. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college
