Job Title: Sr. Channel Manager
Location: Argentina / Chile
Reports to: Sales Director, South Latam
Job Summary
At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are searching for a hard-working Sr. Channel Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is essential in developing and managing strategic relationships with our business partners across Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. You will be pivotal in improving sales opportunities and driving market growth through effective channel management and influential leadership of divisional teams and functional areas. Your objective will be to ensure sales objectives are reached and high customer service standards are preserved.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with Life Sciences distributors.
- Facilitate effective communication between Thermo Fisher Scientific and our business partners.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's ambitious growth targets.
- Collaborate with business partners to establish business plans and sales forecasts.
Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure partners are proficient in Thermo Fisher products and services.
- Coordinate training sessions and events to improve product knowledge.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to gain market share against competitors.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Goal Achievement:
- Ensure the achievement of sales targets and other critical metrics.
- Track and report sales results and partner activities.
- Allocate Annual Operating Targets (AOT) to channel partners.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in multinational channel management.
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience.
- Previous experience in the scientific, biotechnology, healthcare, or technology industries is highly desirable.
- Previous responsibility for sales budgets in USD.
Skills and Proficiencies:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership by influence skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Driven by achieving outcomes with a forward-thinking and thoughtful approach.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (60% field / 40% home base).
- Proficiency in English (B2 or C1).
- Experience with Excel and PowerBi.
