As a Sr. Associate - Strategic Pricing & Planning (formerly Finance Contracts Administrator) supporting Alcon's Surgical, Vision Care, and Pharma Business, you will be trusted to support the government pricing component of the revenue cycle and ensure Medicaid Rebate compliance. In this role you will independently process and analyze Medicaid rebate invoices, resolve disputes with state agencies, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Upload/input quarterly Medicaid rebate invoices received from States to ensure accurate and timely processing while avoiding penalties and interest
- Validate utilization and rebates, and present analytical reports to leadership.
- Serve as the point of contact for State Medicaid Supplemental contracts.
- Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and ensure data integrity in Vistex system; identifying, requesting, and tracking Vistex enhancements, incidents, and testing in collaboration with Vistex IT Support team; maintain pricing integrity within Vistex.
- Develop financial reports and optimize data analysis using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and SAP BI.
- Develop contingency plans for unexpected issues.
- Communicate effectively across departments.
- Provide backup for Medicaid team members and establish best practices.
- Complete Medicaid analysis and documentation for all states/programs.
- Uphold SOPs and Desk Procedures to meet compliance standards and mitigate risks.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience in SAP Business Objects (BI), Alteryx, and related tools a plus.
