What You’ll Do Here

You are a senior-level accountant with 3-plus years of experience in general accounting processes and procedures, in-depth account reconciliations, and conducting analysis of compiled data.  You are savvy when it comes to hunting down all the information required to complete reports, and willing to adapt and change as the business scales.  You are a self-starter who is motivated by the challenge of taking your knowledge and using it to improve upon current reporting and create and execute robust and detailed reports for a rapidly growing line of business.  You are skilled in adapting to change and consistently seeking ways to add value to the organization.  You are naturally analytical and curious by nature, and fastidious in researching data to help others make informed decisions. 

• Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
• Prepare journal entries, month-end closing procedures and tax returns
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• Support month-end and year-end close and audit preparations
• Gather and maintain documentation to support financial records
• Perform Internal Control
• Support financial and regulatory audits
• Analyze financial data and reports and perform variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports as needed.
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.

What You Bring

• 3-plus years of experience in senior-level accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
• High-level proficiency in Excel
• The ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Aptitude for collaborating across functions
• Superior verbal and written communications and presentation skills
• Experience using QuickBooks and/or ERP/accounting systems. 
• Real estate / title/escrow experience a plus.
