Job Summary
The Markets Integration Technology team within Investment Banking is looking for a Specialist Support Engineer to work as part of an integrated (run & build) tribe in lower complexity environments to provide enterprise wide application support across multiple stakeholder groups by maintaining & optimizing enterprise-grade applications (tech products & services).
Job Description
Key critical skills and experience required:
- Relevant B-Degree in Computer Science preferred but not essential if minimum requirements of experience & practical application that enables application support is evident
- Min 5 years Technology experience
- Application Management and Diagnostics Experience
- Hands on Application Support in a Technology environment
- Experience and Knowledge of Banking and Financial Services Business
- Basic understanding of the CIB concepts and terminologies (diverse asset classes, Trade Workflow, PNL, Trade Settlement, Trade Confirmation, Regulatory reporting, Collateral Management, FRTB).
- Ability to support diverse trading desks and troubleshooting functional issues
- Proficiency with the use and support of the Font Arena Trading tools/applications (Trading Manager, Operations Manager, Information Manager, Price Entry, Yield Curve Definition/Calculation, Instrument Definition, Transaction History, Price Link Specification)
Technical Skills:
- Log, resolve and report the Front Arena production incidents/requests/queries
- Proficiency in supporting the Front Arena Trading platform, and ability to troubleshoot the Front Arena components (ADS, Prime, ATS, AMB, AMBA, AMQ Bridge, PACE, APH)
- Investigate and troubleshoot payment and SWIFT related issues
- Linux scripting and proficiency with Linux commands
- Schedule the EOD tasks and run reports/tasks on ad-hoc bases
- Configuration and maintenance of the Front Arena production environment which also include deployments and getting servers patched
- Plan and perform DR testing
- Python and SQL programming
- Perform systems integration support

- Ability to work under pressure
- Collaborate with other teams (Dev and Ops) in the delivery of the strategic projects
- Willing to learn new skills and technologies
