Job Description
The finance team is crucial for maintaining financial health and stability. This team comprises accounts payable, tax and treasury, payroll, and investor relations. Together, they manage financial planning, transactions, compliance, and investor communications, ensuring the organization operates efficiently and meets its strategic goals.
The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness for our organization. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally to meet the business's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and ensure competitive pricing, high-quality standards, and timely deliver
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain and leverage insights to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones to ensure consistent quality and service
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements, while minimizing risks and maintaining compliance
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement processes to enhance profitability.
- Analyze spending and sourcing data to drive efficiencies, improve service levels, and reduce overall procurement costs.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to ensure continuity and quality of supply.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including managing contract renewals and audits
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and address sourcing requirements and constraints
- Establish KPIs and regularly assess supplier performance to ensure alignment with company goals. Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, savings, supplier performance, and risk management to senior management.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the supplier base to identify redundancies and underperforming suppliers. Develop a supplier rationalization proposal with recommendations for retention, consolidation, or replacement of suppliers, including risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses. Create an implementation roadmap for rationalization with clear milestones, timelines, and KPI tracking to measure impact.
- Design an optimized sourcing process, including stages such as RFI/RFP, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance tracking.
- Recommend and implement sourcing tools if applicable or develop manual process templates and guidelines where tools are unavailable. Oversee process implementation, provide training to sourcing and procurement teams, and monitor adoption and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in IT.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement and sourcing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced English knowledge.
