Solutions Architect (5121)

As Cloud Engineer, you’ll design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions using Microsoft Cloud Technologies, including Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in low-code and pro-code development, with the ability to gather customer requirements, lead engineering teams, and architect innovative solutions that leverage APIs, data lakes, and AI technologies. This role requires collaboration with both customers and internal teams to ensure successful, data-driven outcomes.

What you’ll do:

• Design scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Cloud Technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with and lead a team of engineers and non-engineers in the design, development, and deployment of solutions, ensuring the team delivers high-quality work that aligns with customer requirements.
• Work closely with customers to gather business requirements, outline roadmaps, and recommend improvements to existing solutions. Design and implement new systems that leverage API integrations and Microsoft Cloud Technologies.
• Write C# code to support the implementation of pro-code solutions as needed, ensuring that code is maintainable, scalable, and efficient.
• Architect and implement data lakes to support solutions, ensuring the proper storage, integration, and management of large datasets.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into technical requirements and actionable roadmaps.
• Guide customers on their journey to making data-driven decisions by providing innovative technical solutions that leverage Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• This is a Hybrid and requires onsite office work two days a week (generally Tuesday & Thursday) at Ft Belvoir, VA.
• 5-7+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud technologies, and software engineering, with a focus on Microsoft and Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in leveraging Microsoft and Azure services for cloud-based architecture and integration.
• Ability to design and deploy low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, Virtual Agents)
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
