Presales solution architect responsible for designing on-premises and hybrid datacenter solutions, leading DC transformation and migration planning, responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ, producing technical solution documentation and customer presentations, and estimating deployment efforts across compute, storage, backup, virtualization, containers, and HCI technologies.

Skills Required
- Total experience between 5 to 15 years
- Presales Solution Architect experience for on-premises datacenter and hybrid solutions
- Experience building on-premise data center solutions (traditional and next-generation disaggregated/converged models)
- Experience planning Green/Brownfield data center transformation and migration including containers, converged/hyperconverged, compute, storage, backup and virtualization
- Experience responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ for IT infrastructure and defining infrastructure deployment plans and effort estimates
- Strong documentation skills to create technical solution documents and customer defense presentations
- Sound understanding of operating systems, virtualization technologies, and licensing
- Familiarity with virtualization and container platforms (VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Red Hat, Microsoft)
- Exposure to server, storage, HCI, network and backup OEMs (DellEMC, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Nutanix, Veritas, Veeam, Commvault, Huawei, Oracle, Pure)
- Preference for individual contributor role with reference deal size experience
