The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a Software Testing Analyst to join our dedicated IFMS team, supporting a purpose-built food distribution management system for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). In this pivotal role, you will be part of a focused testing team that drives project success and ensures the efficient execution of testing activities.
As a key member of our testing team, you will play an essential role in driving both manual and automated testing efforts for the IFMS Salesforce application. This role requires a strong foundation in test automation, as you will be part of the development and execution of automated test scripts, primarily using OpenText ALM and UFT, as well as managing test cases and test data within our test management tools.
Key responsibilities include planning, scripting, and execution of system test events associated with scheduled releases, collaborating with team members, and supporting the testing lifecycle to ensure a high-quality, reliable application. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented tester with experience in both manual testing and a proven background in test automation.

Responsibilities:

Test and ensure the functionality and integration of the USDA’s IFMS system built on the Salesforce Lightning platform, which is integrated with the Rootstock Cloud ERP.

Work with the release manager and QA testing team to define the test scope and schedule for testing activities.

Develop and execute test automation scripts using OpenText ALM UFT, ensuring efficient and thorough system coverage.

Participate in system test activities for scheduled and unscheduled updates to the IFMS Salesforce application.

Assist in maintaining the test script library using OpenText ALM.

Execute both manual and automated testing as part of the defined release management process.

Monitor status and findings of client acceptance testing to escalate defects and provide status.

Coordinate resolution of test findings with development team and release manager.

Identify data setup requirements for testing environments.

Provide status updates to the client and team other leads throughout the testing cycle.

Provide recommendations to improve test automation practices and testing alignment with project scope.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
US Citizenship is required to obtain Public Trust.
-
Five (5)+ years experience with testing in a software development environment.
-
One (1)+ years using Agile Delivery (Scrum and/or Kanban).

Two (2)+ Hands-on experience with test automation tools; OpenText ALM (formerly HP/HPE and Micro Focus), including UFT for test automation.

Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills with users, clients, and management.
Desired:

Experience with Salesforce application development projects.

Experience in managing and configuring test automation tools, especially OpenText UFT.

Experience with 508 and accessibility testing.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
