- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts to support software validation and regression testing.
- Execute automated test suites to diagnose issues, verify bug fixes, and ensure new features maintain system integrity.
- Analyze test results, identify software defects, and document findings for triage and resolution.
- Collaborate with manual QA engineers and developers to design effective test cases, including edge cases and unconventional user scenarios.
- Contribute to test strategy improvements and automation best practices.
- Maintain detailed test documentation to support debugging and future testing efforts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts efficiently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks
- Solid programming experience in Python/Java (or similar scripting languages).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in software test automation, software development, or QA engineering preferred
