Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Future State solutions within an agile development framework to support Global Warehouse Management platforms.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Design and Implement Solutions: Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application components and software tools for Global Operational Platforms.
- Automate Cloud Deployments: Provide automated deployment capabilities to the cloud within the agile development lifecycle.
- Containerization & Infrastructure: Build Docker containers for deployment and collaborate with infrastructure teams to build scalable systems.
- CI/CD Management: Automate deployments specifically using GitLab CI/CD and manage source code within GitLab.
- System Optimization: Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Security & Compliance: Handle security considerations, anticipate risks, and participate in generating systems software engineering policies and standards.
- System Administration: Manage configurations for SQL and cloud-based systems while handling disaster recovery and support scenarios.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: Strong knowledge in developing automation scripts with Python, SQL, GitLab
- Technical Expertise: Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud functions, and virtual machines. Nice to have: React
- Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
- Agile Background: experience working within agile scrum methodologies and distributed teams.
- Technical Mastery: Proven ability in implementation design patterns, performance troubleshooting, and managing code repositories like Git and Artifactory.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
