Core ResponsibilitiesJoin as our new Software Engineer and compose, build, and/or configure end-to-end Cloud applications through close collaboration with other product team members. Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following the LEGO Group security and data privacy principles from conceptualization to production release and beyond. Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles and that follow highest coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency.
- Ensure product adaptability and reliability by writing and driving unit and integration tests.
- Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks.
- Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions.
- Suggest and define future stories together with the rest of the team to support the Product Manager.
The Supply & Demand Technology team builds and innovates global Digital solutions for the entire supply chain in the LEGO Group, which are vital to delivering great play experiences. We handle extensive and constantly evolving amount of data, and our products are the foundation for planning the supply, production, and distribution of LEGO products globally.
The team is sitting in our temporary LEGO® Hub in Copenhagen, soon moving to our official Hub at “Postbyen”, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and a little fun play as well!
Do you have what it takes?The preferred candidate loves to actively contribute to the codebase, has years of experience with AWS, event-driven architecture, Cloud infrastructure and modern tech stack working in an agile environment. Hands-on experience development with SAP ABAP/BTP/RAP and keen to learn more. Good understanding of standard methodologies and skills needed in modern software development.
To succeed in this role, the candidate ideally also has competence within the following:
- Test driven development, CI/CD and DevSecOps mentality.
- Tech stack like: Swift, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, IaC.
- SAP additional experience with Fiori Elements and CAP.
- API development and management.
We seek dedication to the software engineering field. Ability to take ownership of feature delivery from idea to production. And with curiosity, always look for innovative ways of doing things through experimentation being a standout colleague and using a growth mindset.
Advanced English at a professional level both written and verbally are needed since we are an international gathered team.
