Role summary
Location: Guang Zhou
On-site | Intern
As a software development intern, you will join the Payoneer Payments Guangdong technical team, participating in the design, development, deployment, and the lifecycle maintenance of the company's cross-border payment system, fin-tech infrastructure, and cyber security platform.
What you’ll do
- Participate in the design, development, and optimization of Fin-Tech
- Contribute to projects that may involve data center management, microservices governance, and cloud-native architecture。
- Assist in research and prototyping in areas such as big data processing, AI/ML applications, security platform, and system performance optimization.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following agile development practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with at least one of the following: Java or Python.
- Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Interested in cross-border payments and Fin Tech infrastructure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and domains.
